The photos I uploaded for this post have been going around the web for at least a month. They are my all time favorite pop culture pieces this year. I owned an art gallery for ten years in a very tony place, and I always prided myself on having a good eye for great art. And I was in business for ten years, so I must have been doing something right.
When I first saw these pictures, I had to research them. Then I checked out the artist, Paul Richmond, and I linked to his blog. http://paulrichmondstudio.blogspot.com/
Well.
Today I discovered that Paul has an online store where he sells his work. And at very affordable prices, too. This was another thing I always did with my own gallery. I sold great artwork, from twenty dollar prints to ten thousand dollar originals. And I always had return clients.
So if you are gay, or love gay culture, please take the time to check out Paul's online store. It's definitely worth seeing, because I predict we're going to be seeing a lot more of his work in the future. http://www.etsy.com/shop/paulypants

I'm proudly waiting for a signed copy of Ins & Outs, it's a wonderful art book, and inside there is also the Christmas piece you posted. It has also a very affordable price, so I strongly recommend people to buy it. Elisa
I do, too. I'm hooked. I love his work.
Ryan, thank you so much for such a nice blog post! Your kind words mean a lot -- and I too wish you still had that art gallery! :) If you ever decide to start one up again, I'll be first in line with some Cheesecake Boys in tow.
I'll let you know if I ever do. But for now I'll just keep posting and shouting your work. I love it.
Ryan
